Since I’ve started working for Taste of Home, the months of February & August have taken on a completely new meaning to me. It seems like I work harder in these “do or die” months, than during show season. You realize there’s only a couple of weeks left & you better be ready, cause to me, it’s all about “The Show”.
Thousands of attendees (sometimes screaming, out of control, fun-loving gals) will only accept a really great show and all I know is that I better deliver… When you prepare as intensely as we do, this will provide more time for pre-show preparation, stage tours, book signings, interviews, and well, you know, the fun stuff. Preparation is everything- This has been my mantra for many years and all I can say is “It works for me & I’m sticking with it”.
Find a show in your area at TasteofHome.com. Come see what a Culinary Specialist’s hard work looks like. You won’t be disappointed!
See ya on stage!
Can’t wait to see your show in Omaha. Wish I could find a job in Omaha doing something like this.
Hi Pam,
I mainly do shows in the North East but we have a great gal in that neck of the woods so go to tasteofhome.com/cooking school/find a show and come see what we do!
