The air was crisp and I was loving it in Mebane, NC. Wow what a night! So much fun, everyone was ready to cook! The stage was set for Fall with leaves hanging and pumpkins scattered. It was a gorgeous setting.
After a great morning set up getting ready for the show, I showed up early to meet with some Taste of Home Cooking School VIP attendees. I signed some cookbooks, shook some hands, hugged a few necks and I even ran a few door prizes. We were getting the show started right.
Then my stage assistants got there and were ready to get cooking. I had 5 great people to work with onstage. I made some great friends tonight! I hope to see them next time.
The show was ready to begin and it was the “Michelle/ Michele” show. My show coordinator was Michele Terry. My emcee was Michelle Kennedy and of course I am Michelle Roberts! I have another “Michelle/Michele” show also. We are slowly taking the Taste of Home Cooking School over!!!! LOL
I had a lot of first time attendees in the crowd. I love it when I can share the awesome experience with newcomers. Then we had our faithful Taste of Home Cooking School followers! It is wonderful how food can bring everyone together. I even learned that whoopie pies are the official state treat of Maine! How cool is that! I can’t wait until I come back to Mebane, NC! Until then…. Happy Cooking!
